ATMs are available in many villages. Visa and MasterCard are readily accepted along with debit cards of international networks.
Tipping or gratuities are acceptable: waiters, transfer drivers, hotel staff, tour guides etc. There is no standard % that is given. It is clearly up to how happy you are with the service received.
Greece has alternating current supply: 220 - 250 volts, 50 cycles. Check if you appliance needs a transformer or a simple adaptor before use.
For medical emergencies visitors may be transferred to the local hospital in Karterados (tel: 22860 35300) or the private Medical Center in Fira (Tel.: 22860 21728). There are also doctors of various specialties on the island.
Tap water may be used for washing & bathing, but prefer bottled water for any type of consumption.
Laundromats & drycleaners are available on the island. You may also ask us for any assistance.
Regardless of the month of your visit a light jacket or windbreaker, a hat & a pair of comfortable walking shoes are necessary. For your own safety & comfort avoid high heels & platforms. When touring the island always have a small bottle of water and sunscreen with you!

We provide daily housekeeping in all common areas & in each apartment. For this reason we ask for your cooperation – if you use the kitchenette facilities please leave it the way you find it. We appreciate your consideration for our facilities, staff & for your fellow travelers.
All types of apartments are primarily furnished & equipped to accommodate two persons. Each apartment has one double bed, bathroom with shower & mini kitchenette.
We offer complimentary continental Greek-style breakfast to all our guests which is served in the room between 08:30 - 10:00.
If damages or any problems do occur please let us know immediately so that we may address the issue for everyone’s comfort & safety. We reserve the right to charge the visitor in full for the replacement &/or the repair of: mobile/static furnishings, linen/upholstery, decorative items, electrical appliances &/or any parts of the building if damages occur as a result of improper use.
